Connected to the award-winning steakhouse, the drinks establishment combines craft cocktails with an extensive wine and spirits selection. The menu emphasizes balance and creativity, using fresh ingredients and house-made syrups and mixers sourced through the restaurant’s farm-to-table approach, says Post 1917’s team, while the wine list pairs with the steakhouse menu.
Specialty cocktails on offer include the Grapefruit Rosemary Martini, Espresso Martini, and seasonal options like the Pumpkin Spiced Old Fashioned, alongside classic preparations. The spirits collection highlights world whisky, brandy, and tequila, with staff offering guidance on distillery backgrounds, flavor profiles, and personalized recommendations based on individual tastes.
Guests can enjoy it all in an atmosphere that balances polish with comfort—a space designed for conversation, whether arriving for dinner or drinks. To make the experience more accessible, the bar maintains extended hours beyond the kitchen schedule, allowing guests to visit for drinks without dining reservations. Bar hours run Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 PM to 10 PM. Thursday through Saturday, the bar stays open until 11:30 PM, and Sunday service operates from 12 PM to 9 PM.
As their spokesperson said, “There simply isn’t a better place to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and fine wines in Lexington than at Post 1917.”
